Overview

A meadow of annual low grow wildflowers is planted in the large circular bed (stretching 70 feet across) situated at the street entrance to the County office building.  The meadow was first seeded in the spring of 2020 with the low grow annual seed mix. A tall bur oak tree stands in the middle of the meadow with a ring of carex planted as a backdrop for the meadow flowers.  A paved pathway around the perimeter of the meadow provides ease of viewing.  The Meadow was seeded in 2022 with American Meadows low grow wildflower seed mix.  The poppies are a 'show stopper' when they are in bloom.
